Gary McGregor, formerly Group Managing Director with Glasgow based construction and manufacturing company CCG (Scotland) Ltd has joined Paisley based construction, scaffold and building services company, the JR Group, as Managing Director.
The JR Group was founded in 1995 by John Horne and his wife Anne-Marie, and has a turnover in excess of £6m. The company operates throughout Scotland and Northern England, within a variety of public and private sectors. It counts some of the UK’s leading companies, such as Cala, Kier, Bellway and Robertson Homes as its customers as well as some of Scotland’s leading registered social landlords
In his new appointment Gary will spearhead the Group’s growth in both construction and specialist building services.
He will also oversee the company’s 100 strong staff, and recruitment, including modern apprentices as the company develops, whilst John will focus on developing the company’s scaffolding business, which is one of the largest in Scotland.
The Group will also encompass a new project management services company, The Glenfruin Development Company, which offers a variety of professional services in addition to providing a conduit for land purchase bringing further opportunities for growth to the JR Group.
