JR Team Takes British Heart Foundation Training to Heart

A 15-strong team from The JR Group took part in a British Heart Foundation CPR training event at its Paisley HQ in a bid to ensure they are equipped with essential life-saving skills.

The UK-based heart charity offered the training session to those not trained in first aid within the business, following the construction firm’s recent £8,000 donation following its efforts in the 2022 Kiltwalk.

The training gave the team vital life-saving skills throughout the session and helped build confidence in reacting quickly and effectively if someone was to go into cardiac arrest.

Gayle O’Hear, Construction Administration Manager, for The JR Group said: “It was brilliant to welcome the team from British Heart Foundation into the office and engage with our team on how to save a life. Not only did it present us with some incredibly valuable skills, but it also gave many of us the confidence to act should the unthinkable happen.

“CPR is a skill everyone should know about, and it was great to get hands-on training to ensure as a team we are prepared.

“The British Heart Foundation was selected as one of our charities following our participation in the kiltwalk and is a charity that is very important to so many of us to it was fantastic to welcome them in to meet with the JR Team and see their great work in action.”
