The JR Group Supports Local Community Groups With Easter Donation

Glenvale Football Club receiving their Easter eggs from JR Group

The JR Group, Scotland’s leading building and construction business, has donated more than 600 Easter Eggs to primary schools, nurseries and local community groups across Scotland.

The Easter goodies from the Paisley-based company were handed in by kind-hearted staff from across the business, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.

The haul of sweet treats has been distributed across Glasgow, Paisley, Fort William and West Lothian – to ensure as many children as possible don’t have to go without an Easter treat.

The donation was shared between Cash For Kids, the Gaelic Nursery School in Glasgow, Glenvale Football Club in Paisley, Kindness Homeless in Glasgow, Little Flyers Nursery in Livingston, Lundavra Primary School in Fort William, St Ninians Primary in Livingston and Whiterose Community Hall in Shettleston.

Gayle O’Hear, construction administration manager, said: “We are proud to once again support local groups and schools by donating hundreds of chocolate eggs collected by the team here at JR Group.

“Unfortunately, there are so many children living in difficult circumstances who, without help from local charities and food banks, may go without a simple Easter treat that so many take for granted. We’re proud to play our part in ensuring as many kids as possible will benefit from our donation and would like to thank everyone who contributed.”
