600 Children Set To Enjoy Easter Eggs Thanks To The JR Group

More than 600 Easter eggs have been donated to primary schools, nurseries, children’s hospitals and local community groups across Scotland from The JR Group, Scotland’s leading building and construction business.

The Easter goodies from the Paisley-based company were donated by kind-hearted staff from across the business, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.

The haul of chocolate eggs has been distributed across Glasgow, Helensburgh, Paisley, Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders and Stirling ahead of the school holidays – to ensure as many children as possible don’t go without an Easter treat.

The donation was shared between Ronald McDonald House, Glasgow; Start Up Stirling Foodbank; St John Ogilvie Primary School, Paisley; Williamsburgh Nursery, Paisley; Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh; Helensburgh and Lomond Carers; Sanderson Wynd Primary School, Tranent and Burnfoot Community Group, Hawick.

Gayle O’Hear, Community Engagement Officer at The JR Group, said: “Donating Easter eggs has become an annual tradition at The JR Group and we are thrilled to continue it this year.

“Over the past four years, we have gifted more than 2,500 eggs to groups across Scotland. We hope all the children from this year’s schools and organisations enjoy their fun chocolate treat during Easter holidays.”
