Living Wage Employer

We are accredited by Citizens UK as a living wage employer – further demonstrating our commitment to our workforce.

The living wage is an independently set hourly rate of pay, calculated according to the basic costs of living. Accredited employers pay the living wage rate, which is updated annually, on a voluntary basis.

The living wage is distinct from the statutory national minimum wage, which is currently paid to employees aged 25 and over. We have committed to paying the living wage to all employees, including temporary and contract staff as a benchmark of being an ethical and responsible employer.

Apprenticeships & Young Person Strategy

We are dedicated to investing in young people and encouraging successful careers in construction. We recognise the paramount importance of giving opportunities to the younger generation and actively do this through our Young Person Strategy.

We offer trade and graduate apprenticeships which enable social mobility and make a valuable contribution to local economic growth. We work with partners to attract and support the careers of local young people – holding career days, enterprise days, class visits, mock interviews and presentations. The company also offer mini projects onsite for students to gain hands-on experience.
