The development comprises 10 x 2 storey houses and 95 flats accommodated over 4 blocks, which vary from 4 to 6 storeys in height. The 6-storey block accommodates 35 retirement living flats designed to elderly amenity standard, including 2 wheelchair exemplar flats and a common room.
The design approach included simple built forms paired with high-quality materials and detailing to create sought after homes.
To deliver a balanced, mixed and inclusive community, the orientation of the buildings and window positioning maximise light, balance views and provide privacy for residents. While built form and boundary treatments deliver a unified sense of place and enclosure through integrated, shared space with clearly defined and appropriately positioned public, semi-public and private functions.
