On behalf of Link Group, this project of 36 bespoke units designed for retirement living at Williamson Street was successfully carried out, utilising the innovative retirement model previously created at Hillhouse Road in Hamilton.

The new build housing development comprised 36 retirement units, made up from 10 one-bedroom flats, five two-bedroom wheelchair accessible flats and 21 two-bedroom flats. The development also included a common room for residents to socialise, along with a tea area, scooter store, car parking and associated landscaped outdoor spaces.

A first of its kind in Falkirk, the development incorporates the character and strengths of the local area, creating a place in the community where retired residents feel a sense of pride. It also met the need for this type of housing within the local area.
